Mediation steps and process:
- Schedule complimentary exploration call
- If you decide to move forward with mediation the mediator will schedule separate intake calls with each party
- One intake is complete the mediator and parties will find a time to meet together as a group.
- These sessions are typically 90-120 minutes and will continue until all matters have been discussed. Each client has different needs so it is hard to say how many overall sessions it will take, but I estimate 4-8 sessions on average (your circumstances may vary).
What to expect from the mediator:
- I will provide a written summary of each session for parties to review
- At the conclusion of all mediation sessions I will provide a memorandum of understanding (MOU)
- If your mediation is around a legal issue I recommend that each party submit the MOU to your legal representative for further processing
